The Various Haunts of Men
Well, this was very satisfying. Just as with Hill's horror novel The Woman in Black, this features rich characterizations and a vividly imagined setting. I'm not usually huge on reading series fiction (at least not past book #1) so it is high praise to say that I'm definitely planning to buy book 2!
