Turn of Mind
Honestly, this one unsettled me more than any other book I've read since The Road. (Can't see anything ever displacing that one from its position as King of the Bleak But Gripping Reads.) Hard not to look ahead and worry about whether some sort of dementia lurks and what the future holds. Preferably not a state institution dedicated to Alzheimer's patients and paid for by Medicaid. Please?
